Fadi Al Machot is currently an associate professor in machine learning at the#nbsp;Norwegian University of Life Sciences in Norway. He obtained the academic grade Habilitation in applied computer science from the University of#nbsp;Lübeck in Germany in 2020. After Fadi graduated from the University of Potsdam in Germany in 2010, he obtained his PhD in computer science at Klagenfurt University in 2013. #nbsp;As a postdoctoral fellow in Austria and Germany, he developed different neurocomputing-based models for challenging machine learning tasks. Then, as a senior researcher, he joined the Research Center Borstel - Leibniz Lung Center in Germany. He published more than 60 peer-reviewed publications in well-known international journals and conferences. Beyond his research achievements, Fadi has extensive experience teaching various artificial intelligence-related courses at different well-known European Universities in Austria, Germany, and Norway.
